Hours: Part time (28 hours per week) – flexibility to work across 8.00am to 8.00pm on weekdays and from 9.00am to 12.00pm on some weekends is required
Salary: £28,000 pro rata
Location: Guildford, with travel across Surrey
About the role
The Assertive Outreach Worker will work through a commissioned project under the Changing Futures agenda funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. The project is commissioned by Surrey County Council (SCC) to deliver Bridge the Gap flexible, trauma informed, person centred outreach support to individuals coping with multiple disadvantages.
The post-holder will provide assertive engagement to complex clients through a trauma informed and holistic approach, including harm-reduction advice, motivation to change, benefits and accommodation support, linked through a Team Around the Person (TAP) approach led by SCC. This role will span across Surrey working with up to 8-9 clients.
