Catalyst Counselling Volunteer

Catalyst Counselling is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and is free to access. We are looking for volunteers who are on a minimum of Diploma Level 4 Year 2 counselling course or qualified.

We offer up to 24 sessions (collaborative review every 6 weeks), for people concerned about their drug or alcohol use, those affected by someone else’s use and/or those concerned about their mental health across Surrey.

Clients can choose between face-to-face, online and telephone sessions.

Catalyst is a non-profit organisation working with people who are dealing with issues stemming from drug and alcohol misuse and mental health - including housing, involvement with criminal justice, relationships with family and friends and getting back into work.

Guildford-based for over 30 years, we work throughout Surrey and its borders in partnership with a wide variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations and bodies to provide support.
