Our Charity Bookshop, in Godalming
Catalyst took over a bookshop in Godalming as part of their work to improve wellbeing and mental health. They asked local people to come up with a new name and ‘A Novel Idea’ was born.
It provides a range of high quality books and the income generated supports some of the work Catalyst do in the local community.
The bookshop has been and continues to be staffed entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers many of whom have benefited from engagement with Catalyst. There is a range of donated high quality fiction, non fiction and children’s books.
Come visit our lovely book and vinyl store in Godalming. Our shop is run by amazing volunteers and all proceeds raised go back into helping people in Surrey.
Make a Difference with Records
We also sell second hand vinyl in our charity bookshop in Godalming. We stock over 1,000 second hand records offering our customers a great selection of both albums and singles in all genres including rock and pop, soul, folk, musicals and films, classical and lots more.
The opening hours will be the same as the bookshop and all proceeds raised will go back into the charity, enabling us to support more people across Surrey.
