Catalyst  has been working for over 30 years supporting Surrey residents who are experiencing difficulties in relation to drug, alcohol and mental health issues, and the subsequent challenges arising around housing, benefits, employment, relationships and community.

A service which covers such a wide area and works with such a large number of people each year through counselling, wellbeing work and drug and alcohol related interventions, is only able to do so with support from a many different  groups.

  • We have over 100 volunteers who work as counsellors, lead activities in our wellbeing work and contribute to the running of the organisation. Click here to find out more.
  • Our links with business both local and national are growing as we consolidate our programmes. More information can be found here.
  • The help that Catalyst gives people is supported by a variety of funders including Surrey County Council for Drug and Alcohol Services and Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, and grant funding from sources such as The Big Lottery Fund for Reach Out Counselling. Read more about our funders.
  • Support from individual donations, often from people who have benefited from our help, play an important part in ensuring that the team at Catalyst can continue. There are lots of different ways to donate to Catalyst.
