The Welcome Project – Mental Health and Wellbeing
The Welcome Project provides firendly and professional support, guidance and activities to increase wellbeing for adults in Surrey Heath, Guildford & Waverley, Farnham, Spelthorne, Runnymede, Woking and West Elmbridge affected by stress, anxiety and depression – who may feel very isolated. It is part of Community Connections, the support for mental health and emotional wellbeing in Surrey funded by Surrey County Council and NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups. For more information go to the Community Connections website. To read the latest report on Community Connections go to Downloads & Publications.
Catalyst and The Welcome Project team work in partnership with other charities and volunteers to provide a variety of activities and opportunities for adults to support mental health and emotional wellbeing. We work closely with a range of partners such as Oakleaf, Guildford Action, CornerHouse, Mary Frances Trust, Voluntary Support North Surrey and Voluntary Action South West Surrey to offer services to people in Guildford, Waverley and Surrey Heath. The Welcome Project also supports the Canterbury Care Centre in Guildford and Open Mind Club in Frimley Green.
The Welcome Project is a safe place for me where I can go when life gets difficult for me.”
